Seattle. Lee and Angela are a gay couple living in Lee's house. Lee is desperate for a baby but two rounds of IVF have failed and they can't afford any more. Angela's old college friend Chris lives in their guest apartment in the garden with his Korean lover Min. Min is the sole heir to a hugely wealthy Korean company and may have to return home soon.

Min suggests that he marry Angela to get a Green Card and give the women money for IVF. Hopefully this will get his seemingly ferocious grandmother off his back, but Grandma arrives unexpectedly to inspect the bride, worried that she may be a gold-digger and the group have less than an hour to 'degay' the house. And Angela! On her hen night, Angela gets horribly drunk after a row with Lee and spends the night with Chris though both are too drunk to know what happened, if anything.

Grandma is a lot sharper than the young people imagine. She knows her beloved grandson is gay but has spent her whole life hiding this fact from her homophobic husband. She insists on an elaborate Korean wedding with many photos and video so that nobody at home will guess that the marriage is a sham. Unfortunately, Angela throws up over her about-to-be husband during the ceremony.

It's an amusing, gentle if unexciting comedy with a corny ending.
