If you grew up with Led Zeppelin you will no doubt have your views on their music and legacy. This very much Jimmy Page curated documentary covers the creation of the group and the recording of their first two LPs. It relies almost wholly on interviews with the three surviving members and a recording of the little interviewed dead member John Bonham, intercut with contemporary footage. I found it fascinating on the history of each group member and the coming together of the group into the rapid recording of their first album. From then on it just felt like a long music video and not a very good one given a lot of the original footage used in not of very high quality. Overdubbed largely with the LP recordings and Page and Plant waxing lyrical about what they were doing all got a bit too much and I felt you have to be a real diehard fan to remain interested.
