Steven Soderbergh directs this very taut story of a senior UK intelligence head George (played by Michael Fassbender) tasked to identify a traitor within their UK HQ from five suspects names provided to him, including his wife (Cate Blanchett) who also holds a high position. No big action, CGI or shooting sequences though a lot of technology is used to maintain a very fast moving but low action and dialogue heavy storyline, that keeps you guessing till the end. The film’s excellent editing plays a key role in keeping the tensions high. The film’s small cast is all excellent, including Pierce Brosnan as their boss, with everyone having their personal secrets exposed as George pursues identifying the traitor. The best news of all is it clocks in at just on 90 minutes!
