Dusty is a 2nd generation farmer on just 200 acres in Colorado. He knows nothing else. Then wildfires devastate the area and his house and barn are gone, his soil unlikely to be fertile again for a decade.

At the same time, his ex-wife asks him to take his small daughter Callie-Rose while she cares for her dying mother. The County has set up half a dozen static caravans for survivors with nowhere else to go and they form a little community, cooking for each other and having sing songs. Some of the others have lost family members.

It's a slow burn -- pun intended. Lives are devastated and they have to hope to rebuild one day. I found it a little dull.
