| Oh I get it. You think anyone who wear a crucifix is a christian. Like Tupac, P Diddy and all those well known fundies. If only I had your grasp of history! All those christians you mentioned sound perfectly horrid. What a terrible scourge on civilisation. To think that they have done nothing but murder and terrorise all those all those put upon atheists who built hospitals and schools and died looking after lepers and the poorest of the poor? Silly me for thinking that atheism could ever be anything but a primrose strewn path to universal brotherhood. Some bonkers history teacher taught me that the French Revolution was born out of the enlightenment. Reason, not revelation, they said, would save the day. Diderot "man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest". Voltaire: "crush that infamous thing, the Church!" Thanks for putting me straight there. |
