Robin, just, what Planet are you on. Time and again your views are very warped and lack any substance. Having said that, you are indeed entitled to your opinion. The Iraq war, was, and is supported by many nations. War is a last resort for many Nations, and it should be remembered that Saddam Hussein was butchering and oppressing his own people for many years prior to intervention by the West. He used Chemical weapons against his own people, and was a dictator who persisted in goading the West into believing he had aquired weapons of mass destruction and was prepared to use them. He was menacing his neighbouring countries and was financing terror groups worldwide. The world is safer without such people. He was also a corrupt leader who let his people starve whilst spending vast sums of money propping up his regime. George W. Bush was not a man alone, who could just say "let us invade Iraq" and just do it. It is madness to believe that he did not have wide support from many countries before invading Iraq. Yes, there are many Iraqi casualties, but how many of the casualties are by the West. Are they not being blown up and maimed by insurgents, or are you so blind to take account of the facts?. Quite simply, your argument is baseless, immature, and not substantive. |
