| Robin I'm fascinated by the reaction to Nick Griffin's appearance on Question Time. Can you explain why you think, in a democracy, a legally elected party is not allowed the same say as any other legally elected party? Just because you don't like the policies, doesn't mean they shouldn't be heard - that's not how democracy works. I think the BNP's appearance on QT was important and about time. He's a useless spokesman and was shown up to be the idiot he is. If he were prevented in making a fool of himself, a lot fewer people would realise what a joke the BNP are. The main issue for me is that the present government and it's supporters need to take a lot of responsibility for the fact people are voting BNP not just cry about what nasty people they are. |
