| Interesting article, predictable responses. We pray for the Royal family and for the government of this country at the core of the service on Saturday mornings...and in some places that prayer is up on the Synagogue walls - my mum recalls Princess Diana being stunned (but I think pleased)to find out that the British Jewish community prayed for her every week. The minor key seems quite a good place for religion to take in a largely secular society. influence rather than power is probably all that believers can expect in a liberal democracy. |
