| Over 11,000 replied to the first consultation with the overwhelming majority against LTN's. The matter was referred to the Council's own scrutiny committee and they are still motoring on with the LTN's across the borough full steam ahead. So what bit of the first consultation did they not understand traffic has increased, travel times for ordinary Ealing residents have increased and worse of all pollution levels have got worse whether you live in Horn Lane or in one of the new LTN areas, you all still breath the same air from the same cars, buses and deliver vans/lorries that all sit in long traffic jams .. Supposedly traffic levels are lower now due to the pandemic so how healthy is that!! and what will happen once we are out of lockdown it will only get worse, traffic needs to flow people need to get around doing their lawful business.. |
