Hi, I disagree with your notion that goldsmith and horn lane are interchangeable in terms of traffic. I am not sure the social economics of your home is relevant to this discussion, albeit can be an interesting one! We live very near horn lane so completely understand what you mean about noise and pollution. However ere I believe horn lane is an A-road and has been designed as an artery between the larger roads. I am afraid there is always going to be traffic on the A roads, in fact that is the objective (even if it does not help the air quality situation). TheLTN is designed, as was demonstrated in Walthamstow (number of movements), to reduce the overall traffic to the area. Including traffic to the surrounding artery roads. That’s what I am hoping for and what case studies suggest. |
