Why so angry? It’s not black or white. The purpose of this scheme makes sense to me, but selfishly I live on acacia and have seen a massive reduction in traffic outside our door. Your post indicates that it is better to spread the cars throughout poets corner than to channel along horn lane. Possibly, do you know that for a fact that this is better, holistically for the area? I live very near to horn lane so I care about that as well, but I can see the benefit to total traffic reduction in the area. Ealing council noted 15% reduction, surely that is a good thing. Consider that you don’t have all the facts, I don’t, but I have dabbled in traffic master planning and it isn’t ever black or whitE, it’s more or less grey. Please also note that the positive reinforcement on this forum is not nuanced enough and very hostile, if we Can just be a bit more civil and factual. Ask questions If you need to, and then rather than make emotive arguments try and understand why this is being implemented. |
