| Please don't forget Horn Lane, we have Acton Main Line with links to Paddington (7 minutes) and Ealing Broadway (3 minutes). Although I do wish we had 4 trains per hour instead of 2. North Acton is only a short bus ride away. I would like another bus route along Horn Lane as we have to rely on the 266 but there you go! Quiet streets, nice houses all within easy reach of transport links! Great for those who do not drive! The local Co-op is handy, if one is desperate! Springfield Gardens is nice in the summer. Acton High Street is a short walk or bus ride away. I sound like an Estate Agent! On the minus side: We have sadly lost the nice chippy which was on the corner of Noel Road. Now the nearest chip shop is on the corner of Churchfield Road. Pollution is high at times in Horn Lane, hopefully something will be done to improve things if those in charge listen to the residents! Acton is still a nice place to live despite all the negatives. Acton is not just Poet's Corner you know! |
