| To the people who didn't read my posting properly, it was Jane Kelly's xenophobic and racist article I objected to, and I find it ironic that someone with a name that implies she, too, is from an immigrant background could have written it. Sorry, but to me her article sounded just like Alf Garnett in full stride. Yes, she is entitled to "free speech", but I am entitled to be offended and have an image of jackboots in my mind when I read it. Oh, and I'm from an immigrant background too but it isn't obvious from my surname. |
