| thought the article in the Telegraph was bang on the money in my opinion. Reflects exactly my experiences over the last few years, culminating in a torrent of abuse my wife received from some of our less englightened islamic brethren at the Horn Lane end of Churchfield Road. How dare she wear a skirt that was above above knee length :) that was the straw that broke the camel's back but there were many other examples i can quote...the frustration at spending nearly half an hour closing a savings account at the Post Office because the assistant spoke barely a word of english springs to mind. So, grudgingly we decided to add to those 'white flight' statistics and have since moved out to the sticks where to be honest we are much happier. |
