| Dear Beryl, as an elderly single female myself I do want to encourage you to use public transport after dark if it suits you. I especially appreciate Silverlink which takes me to the Tricycle theatre in Kilburn to the cinema and the theatre, the 207 to take me to the Vue cinema in the Westfield centre and the kindly minicab company operating just inside Acton Town station which drives me home if I venture to central London for a treat or two. In my opinion public transport has improved in recent years and of course we have our bus passes. See what is on and just go.............. |
