| John, I moved from South Wales to Acton. When I go back there now it's really different to what it was when I lived there. In many ways, at least superficially, it's much worse now than when I left. I daresay many people could say the same about their old home town. My daughter, who was brought up in Acton is very fond of the place but I assume will be bemoaning the changes to the place if she ever moves away and revisits. I think that it's human nature to hanker after the good old days when things were better |
