| I couldn't agree more that Acton is a wonderfully diverse place and for that reason more interesting than Chiswick in many respects. I live midway between the 2 but really value all the interesting food shops in Acton High St. that stay open all hours as well.If you want something a little more gentrified try Churchfield Rd for goodness sake which has an artisan bakery and other cafes and poetry nights at the pub! I was sorry though to see the closing of the bakery on corner of Horn Lane & High St.and the inevitable estate agent that has replaced it . I am much more worried (see Turnham Green Terrace campaign as well in Chiswick) about the insidious rise in estate agents as opposed to 'veils'! |
