Regardless of race or creed, if you are unhappy with where you live, whether it be due to a perceived fear or a reality, you may well want to move from that place. That includes war torn countries, countries in economic downturns or simply to a better street, near a better school somewhere in a better London borough. Fundamentally, we all seek to improve our lot in life. From this viewpoint, there are those who maybe have more choice in the matter of moving, whether it be due to finances, connections etc What frightens me in some of the negative comments on this thread is the condescension towards certain peoples, nations and religions - please explain what makes you a better person more 'qualified' to live in Acton than your neighbour? |
