| There are few options unless you are willing to pay huge amounts of money for an independant fibre to the premises. BT Wholesale (OpenReach) are generally efficient, but they are restricted to only doing what they are assigned and paid to do, so if there are two lines to the same location and they are told to check and repair the one that is working they are not allowed to fix the other one which is obviously the faulty one until a new fault has been logged and someone is assigned to a new job. There are several smaller organizations who arrange contracts with BT wholesale but can be more technically capable and willing to get everything sorted ASAP. My own ISP is a very small specialist who has arranged group accounts through Entanet. If you visit West Ealing station you will see adverts for the Positive Internet Company based locally.
