| We have used Plusnet or it's predecessors for at least ten years and thoroughly recommend. Beware of AOL it also monitors and is very difficult to remove. I find BT appalling as a business client we are called constantly by our account manager trying to sell, but if anything goes wrong as it does frequently they don't want to know. I had to call the engineers back in January as we had had a line down for a day or so. When I reported the fault I wasn't told there would be a charge for this and £140.00 appeared on the next bill. I called accounts to ask what the charge was for and apparently all call outs are now charged to the client. Asked BT person what the fault was and how the charge was made up and was told it was too complicated for me to understand but someone would 'phone me in the next fourteen! days and explain. Some seven days later received the call, stood my ground and refused to pay, explaining that it was their fault not ours, took some time to win as I asked him to check our line records, which showed that the lines went down frequently and mentioned I was thinking of reporting BT to the trading standards people for selling a service not fit for purpose. He then backed off and agreed to send me a credit for the full amount. |
