Meant to share a story about why I am so concerned about switching.....a few years back now I switched back to BT from another supplier.  I lost my number and my line for over a week and was told I couldn't have my number back, despite having it for over 20 years!  I eventually got the number back, and my line, but I had to endure an Engineer who practically lived with me for 3 days.  He arrived around 8am and was leaving way after supper.  At one point I fed him and then I said "you'd better go, or people will think you're my new boyfriend".  Honest, it was the most depressing experience.  I just happened to have a week's leave and he took up 3 days of it.  I didn't leave the house.  I discovered afterwards he was brand new and I was his first job solo.  It's left its mark!
