It is interesting to read that the 'complaints' of properties being draughty, difficult to heat, etc. were actually responses to a pre formatted tick box questionnaire that Catalyst themselves distributed. Am I understanding that correctly? Some might start to think that Catalyst have been looking for an excuse to capitalise on the hugely valuable Friary Park site for a long time? Surely not, being an organisation that have only their residents best interests in mind. Of course residents would respond to ask for improvements. I would tick a few boxes if it meant I would get a few quid off my heating bill, who wouldn't?!!! Maybe a new pre formatted questionnaire should be circulated to Catalyst residents: "Would you like cheaper bills and better insulation at the expense of: - Being decanted from the estate with no guarantee of returning - Being overlooked by towers of up to 29 storeys if you get the chance to return - Live on an estate that is over developed with vastly reduced open or green space - Living on a building site for up to 7 years" |
