| Colin, I'm genuinely sorry that your school won't be getting a new building, but as I said in my previous post BSF would have been cut back regardless of who won the election. The deficit needs to be reduced and had Gordon Brown been re-elected Labour would have had to face up to that, too, as Alistair Darling made clear in his last budget. It's simply false to claim that BSF is being wound down to fund the Free Schools policy and any link made between the two is just a bit of cheap political point-scoring. |
