Colin, I am sorry you feel belitteld, perhaps you could point out the part of my response that was belittling. Also I didn't mean to use offensive language. As for responding to your arguments, if you make one perhaps I will. Jim, you said, "We all want the best for our off springs, but starting a new school, when the "available" local schools are not as "glamorous" as you like or able to get your child in to a better (Grammer)school. Is "Just Not Cricket Olde Boy"!" We are not talking about glamour, we are talking about fundamental differences in curriculum and ethos that will give parents a real choice. I doubt we will be able to match the money spent on other local schools, and in fact it is better for the economy if we don't. You also say, "New buildings or schools does not make a school "GOOD". Good Leadership, Staff, Strategy and policies along with partnerhip work with the parents do. Along with good olde fashion "TRUST"!" I could not agree more. Can we use this for our literature? |
