| Hi Sara - sorry I was meant to be posting to thank all of DARE's supporters here!. You are right that I'm sure the timing has helped us and from our local councillors (thanks Vlod), via the support of Bassam Mahfouz (Labour) to the direct intervention by Angie Bray (Conservative), the elections were undoubtedly a factor in the change of heart. However I think this was a campaign that in the end was based on cold, rational facts, and as such we should have won our case at any time of any year!. But it is good to see democracy in action so directly. Now we all need to direct the energy of the campaign into supporting the Head continue to turn a great school into a brilliant one. |
