| Several schools in Ealing were in the same situation about a year ago. The only one which had any success in delaying (it may since have been pushed through anyway but it certainly was not forced on them at the same time as all the other school expansions) its expansion was Brentside which had an efficient proactive board of governors who worked together with the parents and gave rational well thought-arguments why the school not should be expanded. Let's hope Derwentwater has a similar governing body. You need an orchestrated campaign, not individuals complaining piecemeal to Councillors who will fob you off. |
