| and another couple of things.... 1. Who the heck is coward "Silent Majority"? Since when is it acceptable to post anonymously on such a sensitive subject as our children's education!Come on... who is it? The smug leather clad regional union rep playing his political game at a cost to our kid's education, the outraged anti academy parent or the school union rep? Any other suggestions...? 2. Who wrote that awful article on the Acton High situation with kids in prison in the head line? On the whole AHS kids love their school, however a lot of kids have found the frequent strike actions and comments of striking teachers in school very intimidating and the kids (and parents) are very upset and fed up with the situation. Maybe the editor needs to check all the facts before allowing such a an inflammatory headline to feature this prominently on a public news site! |
