| At the end of part 1 we saw our young hero Spike taken away by a group of people. Unfortunately, this is a cult, run by a man named Jimmy (clearly channelling Jimmy Savile with his tracksuits, long blond hair and flashy gold jewellery) who believes he is the son of Satan and put on earth to torture people to death, which we see rather too much of. Meanwhile, back at the Ossuary, Ian befriends an alpha zombie after tranquillising him, naming him Samson, then starts to think that he may have an idea for a cure for the zombie virus. Obviously, Samson makes the ideal test subject. Jimmy sees Ian and concludes that he is his father Satan come to earth. Ian, seeing how dangerous the man is, puts on a magnificent show of power and scientific magic. It's an 18 certificate and not for the faint-hearted. Far too many scenes of people being ripped apart or slowly tortured to death for my taste! |
