It’s a biopic about the model turned Vogue photographer who took some amazing photos in London during WWII and then went to France for the closing stages and liberation of Paris and then on to concentration camps. Starring and produced by Kate Winslett. And with some excellent support particularly by Andrea Riseborough as the embattled editor of Vogue. I found it quite compelling and thought the framing worked. Some good script-lines and the reconstruction of some of the iconic photos was great. Kate Winslett, as ever, compelling. Good to see ActOne so full too. Apparently it’s doing good business.
