This is only on Netflix, but everybody has Netflix, right? It's 1974 and an IRA Active Service Unit makes a mess of a car bombing in Belfast, in that they kill 3 small children who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They flee across the border into a small town in Donegal. In the town lives Finbar: he's a hitman, but one that specialises in killing people who have evaded justice. He's ready to retire but, when he realises that a local child is being abused, he has one last job to do. But the abuser is a member of the ASU and war breaks out. The film has a great cast: Liam Neeson is Finbar; Ciaran Hinds woefully underused as the local O'Plod; Niahm Cusack; Colm Meaney; Jack Gleeson (Joffrey from Game of Thrones (unrecognisable)). We have an evil villain called Doreen (who knew that was an Irish name?) The music has a Wild-West vibe. Donegal is the Wild West of Ireland, where everybody has a gun and a grudge.
