Does anyone have to hand the an e-mail address for sending objections to the council. I saw a notice in a neighbouring street (none visible on ours) that the very short period for objections is formally closed, but I suspect any further strong objections arriving will still have some impact, and I want to get mine in asap. I have e-mailed a councillor already but want to do as much as possible to prevent this despite coming late to the process. £35,000 initial cost to the council at a time of cuts to vital services for the vulnerable, ongoing costs of running it, charges for many who will not be able to afford it, limitations to the mobility of those depending on being able to park near a tube or rail station, and all for a scheme which judging from this forum is favoured mainly by those who will not be contributing significantly. All for a relatively trivial problem which very few people seem to be actually experiencing. This deserves to be shot down in flames or at least, quietly put out of it's misery. |
