| I heard from a member of staff of the Gala who has just been made redundant that there are rumours amongst the staff that it is closing down. They already close 2 afternoons a week and have laid off a lot of staff. It has definately gone downhill recently, and player numbers have dropped drastically. I can certainly see this closing down however I did hear elsewhere that it may be turned into a mosque. Not sure if an ex-gambling establishment would be suitable as a place of worship though. |
