| Hi Sara A supplement to the Gaming Legislation was added in January which DOES require the primary activity associated with the licenced premises to be offered there, which effectively means that the premises must offer Bingo. Operators have got round this by installing one "token" automated electronic bingo machine in the premises and then claiming that Bingo is available. The whole situation is a mess and not in the spirit of the legislation. The end result is just an Amusement Arcade containg twice as many High Jackpot machines as it would normally be allowed. By all means if you feel strongly about this contact both the Gambling Commision and the local authority about your concerns. |
