| Just wanted to put a warning to any local women using the Oak Centre. On Friday I was shopping there and was approached by an Asian guy (possibly Indian or SriLankan), who started talking to my kids, asking where their dad was from, what work he did etc. He then proceeded to follow me into the 99p shop, and around the centre. As I was going to leave the centre, he went and stood at the railings outside the centre. I waited inside and he came back in. I then went to McDonalds, and he stood outside Blockbuster. As I walked back down the highstreet towards Birkbeck rd, my daughter noticed him following a way behind us. he was aged about 20-25, wearing a white tracksuit top with red stripes on the sleeves and dark grey jeans. Please be careful , he may be harmless and lonely and wanted to talk to someone, but you can't be too careful. |
