| True. Many rapists start off as flashers. But then as I tried to explain in my clumsier earlier post, many completely harmless and well-meaning men may just appear "odd" to others. I think that it must be a case-by-case balance. When I was around 10, I used to play in the park with kids of various ages. There was a man that I felt sure was a paedophile, who used to attract the younger kids with sweets, and then "pet" them. We older kids used to watch him and tell him to f-ck off if he got too friendly. But what if he was just lonely, perhaps if he had lost a son during the war? |
