| Sara, it was a couple of months ago when this person started tampering and spitting on our car again. That was when my partner telephoned the police several times. This was at 6.40am in the morning. The two WPC's turned up after an hour of his first telephone call. My partner was in the street all this time watching this man. As I mentioned in my earlier post this was within his Conditional Discharge period and we believe that he should have been re-arrested then. My partner was told in no uncertain terms by the WPC that this person would be sectioned and not arrested. What can you do when the police take control and tell you what will happen, you feel defenceless as you hope that they know what should be done. It is so important that people do report what he has done to the police. This could prevent some poor innocent person being put through something which is preventable. This is why we went to the police originally last year and completed our statements. We were quite prepared to go to court. However, as he pleaded guilty we did not have to attend. |
