| Dee, we thought that too. We were really surprised that the police did not re-arrest him because he had broken the terms of his conditional discharge by breaking the law and tampering with our car again. There appeared to be no difference in his mental mood the last time he tampered with our car to the original time he committed the 1st offence. But the police chose not to re-arrest him but to section him instead. He was back out on the street a couple of days later. Many of our neighbours have watched him peeing and spitting on cars in the street and on the pavement but nothing has been done. I know that several of them have reported him to the police in the past but he is still continuing to do this. The thought that people are afraid to walk up Birkbeck Road, should set alarm bells ringing somewhere. I have lived there all my life and find it appalling to hear people say this. Our road has always been a safe road and I want it to continue being safe. |
