You are very trusting Nicola. "If a person is a threat to national security, keep them out of the way." Presumably they will have committed a crime with which they can be charged. The bizarrest thing about teh very odd Qatada case is how the powers that be believe absolutely in his guilt, but he has never been charged with a serious breach of British law. You would have thought that in a decade or so, someone would have found something if he's THAT dangerous. There is a long history of the police searching black people because they are black and with no onther reason. You wll remember this happening frequently. Very often there was no other reason but straight racism. I hope it's less common now but the HR stuff helps keep that proportionate. |
