| Your questions weren't directed at me originally, so I won't answer them as I wasn't the poster. You can't state that a law is 800 years old as if it's something to be proud and adhered to.........the age of it doesn't matter, that's the point. Only that it works TODAY. It may well do, but it was your statement that it was 800 years old that grated with me. Please then answer my questions: *Which rights and freedom have we enjoyed in this country have you seen eroded since Sept 2001 and *Why since Sept 2001 specifically You're right. This country has gone down hill (which is what you implied) but probably we'll disagree on the cause of that. |
