| Certainly pedestrians seem to be an afterthought throughout the proposal, just a few mitigating uncontrolled crossings here and there. Not happy about this. Moving the bus stop at McDonalds just down the road and the one opposite Birkbeck Road all of 10 metres to under the overground train bridge really changes very little, just a waste of money in my eyes. And whilst I can vaguely understand the logic of stopping right turns into Gunnersbury Lane from Uxbridge Road (not that I think it's necessary), I do not understand why they are stopping left turns from Gunnersbury Lane onto Uxbridge Road, this really wouldn't slow down the traffic flow, if anything it'll jam it with loads of cars doing 360s at the roundabout at the Horn Lane Junction then heading back towards Ealing Common. |
