Toby, I am not discussing the NUT. I am discussing the Acton school you referred to in your article. You have still not answered the questions. What would have been the tangible benefits to teaching and learning if this outstanding school had become an academy? And should it have become an academy if the majority of staff, governors and parents did not support this change? In a polemic comment in The Guardian in 2009 John Crace claims that you are not an educational visionary rather he describes you as a ‘jobbing confessional hack and failed screenwriter; megalomaniacal fantasist, obnoxious opportunist and tireless self-publicist’. I assume he also had no obligation to put both sides of the argument. Why don’t you prove him wrong by answering the questions? |
