Didn't Newsnight give it an impressive amount of space - on a busy newsday too. It was a shame about the couple of inaccuracies - but only locals would clock him going the wrong way over the bridge - and the Libertaire piece to camera seemed a bit of a waste of space (if you are going to refer to Waitrose disparagingly as a middle-class symbol in Acton why not say it was founded here - would at least give the remark some point) Unless he said it and I missed it. I would have liked to hear from some more parents - not just the grateful recipients of Toby's attention on the South Acton Estates. He does come across as committed and able, so maybe he will pull it off...but someone else I know who is doing much the same and has access to greater resources and a more joined-up will, has taken eight years so far. The oldest Youngs may well end up at Acton High. |
