| Funnily enough, Naomi, I HAVE been writing to the council regularly highlighting potential sites. As I said, onsite expansion at Derwentwater won't affect my kids much so I'm disclined to accept a charge of Nimbyism. It's YOUR kids that'll be in the portable classroom. But don't worry, soon you'll get middle class parents looking at schools in Acton thinking (like Cameron) I'm not sending my little 4 year old into a mega school and b*ggering off to the private sector - thus freeing up places but reinstating a two-tier education system at primary level which will run all the way through to university. But hey, maybe I shouldn't try to fight it..... |
