As someone with pre-school age children I find the attitude of the posters on this thread pretty disgusting. You've got your kids a school place, you're alright Jack and prospective parents like me can go and eat cakes! Only the education of your kids matters doesn't it! 

Personally, I am grateful to Councillor Kate Crawford for daring to challenge the narrow self-interested NIMBYISM displayed so far on this thread. I also think the threats and nasty comments about this councillor are perhaps politically motivated?
