I seriously doubt that this is ever going to happen. Netto has already left. It was said that Iceland and Poundstretcher are also soon to leave. So who is going to go in there? Waitrose, a local Waitrose with its Chiswick prices on Churchfield Road? Don't hold your breath. With charges for parking, and small floorspace,anyone going in could be murdered by Morrisons.
20 or so years ago when a similar development was proposed for the Oaks, the promise was for Marks and Spencer. And, in those days Acton High Street had Woolworths. Tesco had just left. The slippery slope has got steeper.
