| Raised linking 91 to Derwentwater with all three of our councillors at once - we were all at the Oaks exhibition together. TEN stories proposed in the centre which strikes me as wholly disproportionate to Acton - about seven on the High Street aside and five on the Churchfield Road side - but if they were to scale back a bit, make it more human and less blocky, and take into account the stress on infrastructure and do something to sort local school expansion - it might be OK - given what is there now is pretty grim. The architect won't consider putting the car park underneath - which seems sensible to me - he said because of a problem with lorries turning or somesuch but actually - as he added - cos it costs too much. |
