| Just a reminder that Ealing Council says it will fine anyone caught going through the LTN bollards or gates after this date - of course if there's a camera there - at the moment the camera cars sit on double yellow lines (unlike us, above the law!) but only for about a couple of hours at a time at any location. The plan, after the interim review is that all the bollards and gates (including the Goldsmith Avenue gate) will be replaced by ANPR cameras which will allow emergency vehicles through and also people with blue badges to leave and enter their own LTN only. The council doesn't seem to realise that the blue badge is attached to a person NOT a vehicle. Or to be clear how that will work. So I suppose it's ho for the tribunal.... Oh and, because of this change, the council will extend the trial by another six months. |
