| Ealing council's own declared aims and vision as set out in their Acton Town Centre Development Framework aspire to.... "... a revitalised town centre, attractive and good quality public realm, improve accessibility, movement and linkages within Acton Town Centre, encouraging visitors to stay longer... diverse mixed retail, leisure and community experience... creation of better pedestrian north-south linkages between Churchfield Rd and the High St...etc etc " ... ... all of which would be forever blocked and negated by the no-go area / gated community where a town square / street / avenue could be. Surely this adds up to a valid objection in planning's own terms. |
