Dee. You really are going off topic now. The whole site has been sold for development and it is the 'type' of development that is being opposed here. The existing garage which i may add, has been trading on this 'commercial' (without any complaints or problems) site for over 14 years, is GOING......no if's and's or but's about that so the information you require really has no relevance. Whatever happens, the garage is not part of this discussion....it WILL be demolished..the development plans ARE !! I would have thought you would be more worried where the residents of these new houses and flats will be depositing there rubbish and recycling bags/boxes, and if they leave them out on the right day or leave them where others can trip over them etc....Or even if they will be houses of multiple occupation..Or if they are going to have too many vehicles parked on the street...This is your forte. Remember this....There is no guarantee these new properties will be sold. There IS a strong possibility they will be rented out either in the private sector or if hard to sell, handed over to LBE for social housing as had happened (i believe) to the Barratt development by Springfield Park. The new development of flats built almost 2 years ago ? opposite Lynton Road in Horn lane......I believe not one has been sold. The developers are only interested in fitting in as many units as possible on this site...It's called 'making money'..try and look beyond that. Concentrate on what WILL be there.....not what IS there at the moment......This is not the issue. |
