Just as a matter of standard process, Abdullah Gulaid would not be a voting participant at the planning committee for any application relating to his own ward, Acton Central. The rule is there to seek to eliminate potential conflicts of interest. I'm sure that you will still want to engage with the Acton Central ward councillors if you have not done so already. MPs have no role in the planning process, although their postbags probably bear witness to the fact that people assume they do! |
